I studied oil painting for eight years and have many canvases to my credit. I have lived in different parts of Montreal and Western Ontario all my life, and have now settled in the Durham Region with my husband and two young kids.

I trained under a couple of well respected instructors (Janet Harris, West Island Creative Art Center, Quebec, and Roger Witmer, St. Jacobs, Ontario).

I have been teaching since 2004 and have provided lessons out of my art studio at my house in Northwest Oshawa since October 2006. I have a regular group of students and always welcome new ones.

In addition to my regular sessions at my studio, where you’re also always welcome to drop in and learn on a week-by-week basis, I have taught structured courses with the City of Oshawa (at the Oshawa Seniors Centre) as well as at Michaels Arts & Crafts Store. I currently also teach a class to students at Durham Christian Homes (DHC) in Whitby.

I have sold many paintings that were commissioned, including portraits and inspirational paintings, and I love to see my clients’ faces when they receive the painting they desired.

I’ve also done window murals, including those outside Melanie Pringles restaurant in Whitby.

Painting and teaching is my passion and I look forward to sharing my knowledge of practical artwork with you.
